Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, and protect your data.
Last updated: July 25, 2026
At LuxPassion, we value your privacy and are committed to handling your information responsibly and transparently. We collect as little personal data as possible — only what is necessary to operate the Site, improve your experience, and respond to your requests. Our business model is based on affiliate partnerships, not on collecting or reselling your data. This Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data; it applies together with our Terms & Conditions.
Who We Are (Data Controller)
LuxPassion is an independently operated curation site. For the purposes of applicable data protection law, the operator of LuxPassion is the data controller for the processing described in this Policy. For any privacy matter — questions, requests, or exercising your rights — contact us at contacts@luxpassionintimates.com or via the Contact page.
Definitions
In this Policy, “we”, “our”, and “the Site” refer to LuxPassion. “You” means any visitor or user of the Site. “Affiliate partners” are third-party merchants we link to. They are independent data controllers of any purchase data processed on their websites.
Legal Bases for Processing
Where GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases: consent — for analytics cookies in regions where consent is required (our banner); legitimate interests — for aggregated, anonymized usage statistics, affiliate commission attribution, site security, and abuse prevention; performance of steps you request — for responding to your inquiries. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests at any time (see “Your Rights”).
Data We Collect
- Browsing data: logs, device details, and aggregated/anonymized analytics events.
- Contact data: name, email, and message content if you reach out to us.
- Affiliate interactions: outbound click events used to track referrals. When you follow an affiliate link, we attach a random first-party identifier (see “Cookies & Analytics”) so the affiliate network can attribute a resulting commission to the Site. This identifier is a random value that contains no personal details — no name, email, or account information. We do not process or store your payment information — purchases are handled directly by affiliate partners.
How We Use Data
We use collected data to:
- operate and improve the Site,
- respond to inquiries and provide user support,
- ensure security and prevent abuse,
- measure affiliate attribution and commissions,
- analyze overall usage trends (never individual browsing history).
We do not sell or share personal information. Sharing is limited to trusted service providers strictly necessary for operating LuxPassion.
Your Rights – United States (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA):
- Right to Know: request details about categories of personal information we collect and how it is used.
- Right to Delete: request deletion of personal information we hold, subject to legal obligations.
- Right to Opt-Out: request that we do not “sell or share” your information. LuxPassion does not sell or share personal information, but you may opt out of analytics and tracking cookies at any time via your browser, our cookie banner (if enabled), or by using Google’s opt-out add-on.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: we will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
To exercise these rights, please use our Contact page or the “Do Not Sell or Share” option (if available). We may need to verify your identity before processing certain requests.
Your Rights – European Union (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the UK, you also have rights under GDPR, including:
- Access to your personal data,
- Correction of inaccurate or incomplete data,
- Deletion (“right to be forgotten”),
- Restriction of processing in certain cases,
- Data portability (receive your data in a machine-readable format),
- Objection to processing based on legitimate interests.
We may ask for verification of your identity before fulfilling requests to protect your data. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority — either in the EU/EEA member state of your residence or place of work, or with the authority of the place where you believe an infringement occurred.
Cookies & Analytics
We use two analytics tools, configured to collect as little as possible:
- Google Analytics — usage analytics with cookies. In the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, analytics cookies are OFF by default and are only set if you accept them via our consent banner; until then, only aggregated, cookieless signals may be sent. Outside these regions, analytics runs by default and you may opt out at any time (browser settings or Google's official opt-out add-on).
- Umami — a privacy-focused, EU-hosted analytics service. It uses no cookies and no persistent identifiers, does not track you across sites or days, and stores only aggregated, anonymized statistics (page views and click counts). Because it processes no personal data, it does not require consent.
We also store a small amount of data in your browser's local storage: your cookie-consent choice, your selected region, and a random first-party identifier used solely for affiliate commission attribution (see “Data We Collect”). This identifier is not shared with advertisers and is not used to build a profile of you. We do not use personalized advertising cookies. Essential functionality (e.g., remembering your region) cannot be disabled without affecting how the Site works.
Third-Party Services & Affiliates
We may use trusted third-party providers, including:
- Google Analytics (website analytics),
- Umami (privacy-focused, EU-hosted website analytics),
- Affiliate networks such as Awin (tracking outbound clicks and commissions),
- Hosting and content delivery providers (serving the Site and its data).
Purchases made via affiliate links are processed by our partners under their own privacy policies. We do not have access to payment or account details entered on partner websites, and we are not responsible for how those third parties handle your information. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before engaging with their services.
International Transfers
Your data may be processed outside of your country of residence, including in the United States or EU. When this happens, we take steps to ensure that your information receives adequate protection in line with applicable law. This may include mechanisms such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or contractual safeguards.
Data Retention & Security
We retain data only as long as necessary for the purposes described or as required by law. We typically retain contact data for up to 12 months, unless longer retention is required for legal or security reasons. Aggregated/anonymized analytics may be kept longer for trend analysis.
We use industry-standard measures such as HTTPS encryption, limited access, and log monitoring to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s Privacy
LuxPassion is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, please notify us via the Contact page, and we will delete it.
Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. A revised version will be posted with a new “last updated” date. Continued use of the Site means you accept the updated Policy.
Language
This Privacy Policy is provided in English. In case of conflict between translations, the English version shall prevail.
Relation to Terms
This Privacy Policy forms part of our Terms & Conditions. It is governed by applicable data protection laws, including GDPR and CCPA/CPRA, as applicable to your location. In case of conflict, the Terms prevail except where privacy rights are specifically protected by law.
